I'm a florapreneur with a die hard work ethic and a passion for curating dreamy and innovative floral creations.

After 19 years in the floral industry, I've been blessed with many awards and published in a variety of blogs. I am living my dream.

I wake up every day excited and thankful for what I do, who I get to work with (that's you!) and what I get to create. With each creation, I grow a bit more as a designer, and I develop a better understanding of my favorite artistic medium - flowers. Each delicate bloom has a purpose, it's own shape and its own place in overall design. It's up to me to figure out that puzzle. And boy do I like puzzles!

When I'm not designing, I enjoy spending time with my mom who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016. I am a strong supporter of the Alzheimer's Association. In the studio, I've dedicated an arrangement to my mother, and 25 percent of the sale of our bouquet benefits our local San Luis Obispo, Alzheimer's Association.

I would love to travel more as there is something special about exploring new cities and cultures that breathes fresh air and inspiration into my soul.

Speaking of inspiration, let's chat about what inspires me... MUSIC. I love music, especially big band jazz that includes the likes of Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. The music calms me and transports me to a tranquil place. Don't get me wrong, I love me some jazz, but I love all music. Without music, I wouldn't be able to dance. Tap is another passion of mine, with ballet coming in a strong second. No matter what, if I'm out on the town and hear a good song, I'll bust a move! You might catch me doing the original running man or the Q-Tip, but hey, that's me.

When I'm not busy with business books, trade magazines, self improvement or perusing the web for additional floral knowledge, you might find me hiking, biking, spending time with the besties, napping, gardening and going to the movies - stuff I wish I had more time for...
